Vehicle Scanner System

Advanced Vehicle Scanner System (AVSS*) is a computer vision based system which uses high end electro-mechanical and camera based assembly to image the underside of the moving vehicle at the entrance of any high security installation. The video grabbed by the system is stitched to form a composite image of the underside of the vehicle. Potential applications include inspection of vehicle undersides for presence and detection of unwanted substances like bombs, explosives, contraband things etc.

Technology:
“ZenScanTM ” AVSS* Technology is a sophisticated interplay of Computer-vision & Image processing algorithms with an Infra-red sensor and optics based technology. The whole system is integrated with a state-of-the-art software module, which in turn helps the user to effortlessly interact with the system. There are additional software database management modules, to help in quick storage and retrieval of the images as well as various related data captured which is a valuable tool for any post event analysis, viz.

• Vehicle’s License Plate Number
• Entry / Exit Time.
• Duration.
• Previous / Standard underside image, etc).
• The technology enables the security systems to manage complex real world vehicle security operations with high accuracy and reliability.
